- Assist the nurse and treatment team in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patient rehabilitation
- Participate in nursing shift reports to stay updated on patient status
- Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies, providing assistance using nonviolent crisis interventions
- Engage in conversations with patients as required
- Help with basic nursing procedures including personal hygiene, vital signs, observation, and care of psychiatric patients
- Conduct admissions procedures and provide patient orientation
- Support unit operations by transporting items and supervising patients as needed
- Conduct regular patient rounds, document observations and ensure patient safety
- Transport patients to external appointments when necessary
- 24 credit Certification in Behavior Health required, Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- Current nursing students with clinical rotation experience will be considered
- Experience with drug/alcohol or psychiatric patients is advantageous
- Possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Capability for occasional heavy lifting and regular medium lifting
- Physical fitness for extensive walking, standing, and climbing stairs
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- CPR certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire

We are expanding our team at Eagleville Hospital and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join us as Mental Health Techs.
Here's an overview of the job and our new compensation program:
Tier 1:
- Four (4) shifts per month, including two (2) weekend shifts
- One (1) summer holiday and one (1) winter holiday
Pay Rate: $16 per hour plus $2.00/hr when working D2E/D2W/OAU-PC1/D1W and applicable shift differential of $2.00/hr for even and night shift.
Tier 2:
- Eight (8) shifts per month
- One (1) Friday, one (1) Saturday, and one (1) Sunday shift
- One (1) summer holiday and one (1) winter holiday
Pay Rate: $17 per hour plus applicable acute and shift differentials.
Tier 3:
- Twelve (12) shifts per month
- Two (2) Friday shifts, two (2) Saturday shifts, and two (2) Sunday shifts
- Holiday Schedule A or B
Pay Rate: $18 per hour plus applicable acute and shift differentials.
