    LHH has partnered with a Fortune 500 company in their search for a Jr. Financial Analyst. This is a one year contract offering a hybrid work schedule.

    Job Description

    • includes cost tracking, budget/forecasts/long range plans, trending analysis, and ad hoc projects to drive business performance.
    • inputs for the Long Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and regular forecasts; share updates on significant changes and areas of potential opportunity/risk
    • financial performance of Digital operations and provide suggestions and input on opportunities for improvement
    • regular reports with actual performance compared to expectations, and share insights with business partners and Finance leaders
    • with other Finance teams to gather inputs for forecasts and reports, and explanations for variances and unexpected items
    • in the monthly/quarterly close process, including journal entries and analysis of performance vs. expectations
    • reporting tools to provide a better understanding of business results and trends
    • with leaders and other Finance teams to identify process improvements and more efficient ways of working
    • additional ad-hoc projects across organization, including strategic initiatives, programming changes, and other business changes
    • Role; In-Office Mon.-Thurs.
    • major components are cost reports that are updated weekly and pulled from SAP; and journal entries and often moving funds between projects.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or similar analytical field
    • year relevant experience with close/forecasting/consolidations/data analysis/financial modeling
    • in Excel and PowerPoint
    • deliverable focused, and well-organized
    • interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and build relationships with Finance colleagues and business partners
    • to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to handle multiple priorities
    • Qualifications Prior media/television/broadcast industry experience; Digital media
    • / Cognos / TM1 experience
    • visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) experience
