Description
Retail – Lead/Supervisor
This position is for a senior, experienced lead/supervisor to help oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail department at PWG Range (PWG).
PWG's Indoor Range is one of the country's premier indoor shooting ranges and the largest indoor range on the West Coast.
PWG's Retail department is a very busy hub of activity hosting almost 200,000 people a year.The ideal candidate will be able to co-manage a staff of approximately 10 others covering 90+ hours a week of being open for business.
A leader as well as a great personality is going to be the combination for success in this position. Any experience working around firearms is going to be very helpful but is not required. A minimum of1 year of lead or supervisor experience is required.
The ideal candidate will have 3+years of customer service or retail experience as well.

Compensation :
This position has a salary range of $38,000 – $43,000 based on experience related to this specific job. The position also includes a commission structure for additional earning opportunities. PWG includes health, dental, vision and vacation benefits for employees.
About Us
Poway Weapons & Gear's Indoor Range is one of the country's premier indoor shooting ranges and the largest indoor range on the West Coast.
At 42,000+ square feet, 42 lanes and three separate ranges – 25, 50and 100 Yards- Poway Weapons & Gear Range is the third largest indoor gun range in the nation.
PWG trains more than 8,000 students a year, has over 220,000people visit it's retail store and upwards of 100,000 shoot on its ranges.
PWG also hosts dozens of law enforcement and military agencies and provides access to our facility for their training needs.
PWG also constantly manages competitions and events that happen every week.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage our retail sales and services to ensure efficiency and 5-Star customer service.
Train and motivate the staff to sell products, training and memberships.
Ensure federal and local laws are followed regarding firearms sales.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must have 3+ years of customer service or retail experience
Must have 1+ years of supervisory or related experience
Significant computer experience related to administrative tasks – Microsoft Office and Point-of-Sale
Ability to change tasks quickly and be flexible
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is fast-paced.
