    The Professional Development Operations Specialist plays a critical role in managing the scheduling and revenue recognition of regional Professional Development sessions. This position coordinates and monitors session coverage, and collaborates with internal partners to ensure accurate, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of PD.

    Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

    Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $55,574.00 and $65,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

    Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote from your home office, preferably in the Mountain or Central Time Zone, but not required.

    Travel:You can also expect up to approximately10% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

    In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of scheduling and delivery of services in an assigned region with a focus on increasing Professional Development profit margin in collaboration with regional management.
  • Support the operations within a region including but not limited to providing administrative support, assisting with data tracking and management, finding coverage for sessions, and responding to requests for changes to scheduled PD sessions.
  • Review and manage incoming regional training requests on NetSuite Dashboard in a timely manner to include communication with customers of site readiness and preparation requirements, coordination and clarification of logistical details, securing coverage when assigned PDS cannot facilitate, confirmation of purchased services and provisioning, and providing confirmation of session to both external and internal partners while also monitoring travel costs and consultant's utilization.
  • Accurately classify and schedule non-revenue Professional Development sessions in order to convey correct and comprehensive data to leadership.
  • Routinely review and monitor data within NetSuite to ensure its accuracy including delivery of monthly summaries, expiration of services, analysis of return authorizations, and completion of hours purchased with follow-up documentation.
  • Recommend NetSuite enhancements and changes to improve the overall quality and breadth of the data available.
  • Collaborate with regional PD team to monitor overall client health and identify customers requiring escalation to manager.
  • Create visual resources and provide support to regional teams in reference to NetSuite as it relates to Professional Development scheduling during onboarding of new hires and presentation on team meetings.
  • Communicate with internal partners and regional teams to confirm and clarify professional development needs, forecast regional delivery needs, proactively evaluate staffing needs based on sales projections, and support large professional development solutions.
  • Act as a trust partner for problem solving and resolution of unforeseen circumstances.

    Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field and 2+ years of experience in resource or project management; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes in a fast-paced organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with NetSuite preferred.
