Role DescriptionThe Production Coordinator is responsible for tasks related to the production of materials and finished goods for Corkcicle products.
These tasks outlined in detail below include working collaboratively across departments and with factories to place orders track production ensure quality control address unexpected deadline changes and hand-off to the Manager of Production and Logistics to ensure timely export from the factories.
This position may be remote or based in the Central Florida area but is required to be in the Eastern Time Zone based on business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and manage all activities involved in the booking of raw materials, order placement, production tracking, product testing, and quality inspections.
Reconciliation of costing between data base, purchase orders, and factory invoicesInterface by phone, email, etc. with overseas and domestic factory personnel on material status, realistic lead times, and production planning issues.
Maintain the PO and Inventory Management platform with accurate information.
Pro-actively seek guidance from/elevate to the Manager of Production and Logistics matters concerning technical and quality issues and/or concerns that may either benefit or harm the company.
Provide clear and accurate information to the Manager of Production and Logistics as to the expected product ready dates for each shipment and the contents of said shipment.
Ensure yearly product testing and factory audits are complete and properly recorded.Attend and present required data at weekly meetings for purchasing and to understand production and factory requirements for projects.
Reports to the Manager of Production and Logistics. No direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS – KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESBachelor's degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
3+ years' experience in a production function in a Consumer Goods industry is preferred.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and proficient skills with major ERP and inventory planning systems including NetSuite is preferred.
The ability to read analyze and interpret documents/reports including financial data.The ability to create customized reports and analyze large amounts of data.
The ability to understand routing guides and determine specific requirements for special projects.
Detail oriented highly organized and works well independently.
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment across different countries and time zones. The ability to build positive relationships with overseas factories.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Available to work within the core hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with the need during peak periods to accommodate a flexible schedule outside of core hours / weekdays.
Occasionally will need to handle issues before or after core hours due to international time zone differences.WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / FLSA STATUS
Indoor open office environment. The office noise level is moderately loud.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time while simultaneously working on the computer and telephone. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally.
Willing to travel domestically if required. Estimated travel is 10%.
