JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a current, valid license for registered nurse.
Hold, or be eligible to hold, an Idaho State Pupil Personnel Services Certificate with a school nurse endorsement.
Health Technician may be considered.
Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred.
Ability to work with students, staff and parents.
Have current CPR and standard first aid certification.
Previous medical experience in school setting referred.
Willingness to perform variety of tasks needed by office personnel.
Ability to prepare/maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of codes and laws that control and limit the provision of health services.
Knowledge of laws and policies that deal with the confidentiality of student records.
Knowledge of clinical and office apparatus.
Ability to deal with stressful situations.
Ability to effectively communicate by phone.
