- The Flight Controls Mechanic is responsible for removing and installing flight control surfaces, components, and repairing to ensure airworthiness. Modifying aircraft structure and flight controls following OEM and Engineering drawings. Performing weight and balance calculations for flight control surfaces, rigging, and operational testing of all flight control surfaces including autopilot. Troubleshooting flight control systems.
- Working on various aircraft types such as Boeing 737/767/Airbus.
- Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of previous Commercial MRO experience.
- Experience with 737/767/Airbus.
- Repair, modify, replace, or perform routine aircraft maintenance work in a specialized area.
- Develop repair schemes using SRM or Engineering data.
- Effective communication with maintenance personnel at all levels. High school diploma or GED.
- Criminal Background Check & compliant with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening.

- Ability to read and interpret documents and communicate effectively with maintenance and support personnel.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations and practices, ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Proficiency in aircraft specialty and knowledge of aircraft areas.
- Completion of job assignments timely.
- Good documentation skills.
- Work with high professionalism, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Physical Demands: Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, good vision, and depth perception.
- FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance environment.
- Moderate to high noise level in work environment.
- May work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes.
- Respirator use may be required.
