    • Location: Carthage
    • Department: 2nd Kpack
    • Shift: Evening
    • Starting Wage: $18.00/hr (Increases to $21.00/hr after 60 days)

    Position Summary: The mechanic operator maintains machines, performs setup/tear down, and conducts basic maintenance tasks.

    Essential Duties:

    • Process products using provided tools and equipment
    • Adhere to safety policies and guidelines
    • Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns
    • Follow USDA and GMP product standards
    • Maintain a clean work area
    • Operate material handling equipment when necessary
    • Direct team members on production rotation
    • Assist in machine maintenance and cleanup
    • Ensure punctual attendance

    Requirements:

    • Ability to troubleshoot machine issues
    • Effective communication skills
    • Physically capable of job tasks
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Pass background check and drug screen
    • Basic computer literacy

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing for extended periods
    • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items up to 50lbs
    • Reaching and climbing
    • Manual dexterity for machine adjustments

    Working Conditions:

    • Exposure to cold, noise, dust, and raw meat
    • Operate machinery in congested areas
