    Description

    I have a full time opportunity for a solid Network Engineer to join one of our top tier clients in Pawtucket RI. I am looking for a well rounded Network Engineer with VmWare, Cisco, data center technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the end to end process for internal restore requests which includes liaising with relevant vendors and internal data center teams
    • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize server performance and resolve complex issues related to infrastructure and security.
    • Help maintain hardware and software related to: firewalls, anti- malware, patch management, Intune, etc
    • Help maintain security standards and processes to ensure data is appropriately protected.
    • Oversee daily backup operations, including appliance based storage
    • Identify failures across our data protection infrastructure (hardware and backup related failures)
    • Handle tape operations (loading and unloading) if needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable work experience
    • O365 administration would also be a plus
    • Exposure to Windows operating systems, VDI, VMware, and Hyper-V.
    • Knowledge of firewalls, VPN, and other networking technologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
