    Overview:


    The Desktop Support Engineer role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment.

    This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Knowledge to resolve network and infraestructure issues and know about Mac troubleshooting.

    The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion.


    Responsibilities:
    Help to setup and administrate Call Center and Infrastructure systems (both hardware and software).

    Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

    Perform regular maintenance on Call Center systems.
    Working on special projects as needed.
    Support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out new solutions and perform systems maintenance work.
    Service / maintain PCs connected to a server.
    Perform preventive maintenance on systems.
    Install / update software.
    Assist in installing new / rebuilding existing servers.
    Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.


    Qualifications:
    1-2 yrs. System administrator or Service Desk experience
    Bachelor Degree, Engineering preferred
    Bilingual (English and Spanish)
    Ability to organize and prioritize time effectively.
    Ability to multitask and detail oriented.
    Windows, Mac, Desktop and Server support. ServiceNow is a plus.
    VPN setup and troubleshooting.
    Active Directory management.
    Manage network resources.
    Call Center experience is a plus.
    Time availability and willing to work weekends ir required.
