    Description:

    • Cleaning patient rooms - taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, & disinfecting around the room
    • Cleaning in administrative offices - wiping down, taking out task, sweeping and mopping
    • Cleaning hallways - sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, disinfecting, and other duties may be assigned
    • Removing dirty linens and replacing with new ones
    • Collects/stores/transports biohazardous waste
    • Stocking carts with cleaning supplies needed for that shift
    • Making sure that supply closet is stocked
    • Adhering to PPE guidelines
    • Interacting with patients, visitors and staff

    Skills:

    • Janitorial, Cleaning, Janitorial duties, sweeping, Housekeeping, Custodial, Housekeep, custodian, Environmental service, dusting, waxing, Mopping

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • Must be able to fully understand and speak English
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. consecutively
    • Must be comfortable working within hospital environment
    • Prior janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or EVS experience
