    Alys Beach is seeking an experienced Accountant. Position will assist in the maintenance of property management software, which includes owner setup, reviewing statements, posting payments and troubleshooting issues. Must have the ability to work independently, and with a team, in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

    Job Responsibilities

    Performing monthly closing, journal entries and reconciliations

    Work closely with managers to prepare budgets and assist in monthly variance analysis

    Reconcile general ledger account activity

    Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and help managers with quarterly inventory counts at various locations

    Assist in any additional projects and general accounting task as needed

    Job Requirements

    Candidate must have anAccounting Degree

    Minimum of 5 years accounting experience

    Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications

    Verifiable experience in analyzing data and communicating results in an organized fashion

    Experience with SAP, Jonas and Quickbooks a plus

    Essential Job Functions

    Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate accounting processes

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers and customers

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Ability to multi-task and work in a group environment

    Flexible work schedule

    Must communicate well and ask questions
