Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Surgical Tech - CV Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour variable shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week

• 13-week contract duration with ASAP start date

• On-call requirements: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week with 30-minute response time

• Weekend schedule: every 3rd weekend required

• Holiday rotation required

• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed

• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility location

• 2+ years of CVOR experience required

• Prior travel experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, CST license preferred (AHA or ARC certifications required)

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree or Certificate preferred

• Set up operative suites for patients and ensure all supplies are available in case carts

• Scrub surgical cases across various specialties and turn over rooms for multiple procedures

• Work with 3 cardiothoracic surgeons handling approximately 50-60 cases per month

• Cardiac/Thoracic and robotic thoracic experience required

• Must be flexible, motivated, and willing to perform downtime tasks like pulling case carts and cleaning

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Use Epic charting system

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing specialized cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services. The facility operates a busy cardiovascular operating suite with three cardiothoracic surgeons performing approximately 50-60 cases per month. The organization utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains high standards for surgical care with advanced robotic surgical capabilities for thoracic procedures.
