Staff Pharmacist - Pharmacy

Northridge Hospital Medical Center

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a
Staff Pharmacist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to our community.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
Perform medication therapy management (MTM) services.
Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
Oversee and train pharmacy technicians.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Completion of a 4-year course at an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm. D. degree
At least two years hospital pharmacy experience preferred or has completed an ASHP accredited residency.
Microsoft Office Common Drug Information Software.
Current CA Pharmacist Licensure required.
Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.

Pay Range
$ $90.24 /hour
