We're looking for a highly experienced, self-directed Part-Time Accountant to support our accounting, payroll coordination, tax compliance, and financial reporting with care, accuracy, and independence.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting in QuickBooks (bank/credit card reconciliations, AP)
Prepare monthly financial statements and year-end items (journal entries, 1099s, W-2s)
Create annual forecasts and holiday sales tracking
Coordinate payroll and HR-related accounting through ADP (payroll, PTO, benefits, 401(k))
Support sales tax filings (Avalara, Shopify, multi-state)
Manage annual health insurance enrollment
Partner with the Owner and external accountants on raises, bonuses, and tax filings
What We're Looking For
5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally with small businesses
Highly organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable working independently and managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Retail and/or eCommerce accounting experience preferred
Experience with payroll systems (ADP preferred)
Strong QuickBooks Online, Excel and Google Sheets experience
Experience with sales tax and multi-state compliance a plus
