Description

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 38 FTE (including 3 supervisors) across 3 shifts
• Assist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standards
• Ensure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work rules and procedures
• Support compliance to plant quality and food safety systems, pest control, sanitation, environmental policy, corrective action policy, etc.
• Evaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as needed
• Ensures master sanitation schedules are maintained.
• Conduct inspections and initiate corrective action as needed
• Orders all cleaning chemicals and maintains adequate levels are cleaning inventory

• 3+ years of quality or sanitation leadership experience in the food industry
• Knowledge of food safety programs and systems: GFSI (BRC or SQF preferred), internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCP
• strong CIP experience required
• Open to working on a 1st shift Monday- Friday with occasional weekend or holiday work as needed
• Strong familiarity with sanitation chemicals and ordering/storage of these materials.
• Microbiological and sanitation experience preferred
