    Job Description Salary:
    $19/hr - $25/hr, based on experience.
    Summary /Objective

    This production support role ensures that Integrity Fab & Machine meets and exceeds our customer commitments through the efficient management of the order and routing process, work center scheduling, programming assets, tooling, effective communication, and information.

    This position is responsible for the prompt resolution of any tooling, material, component, programming, scheduling, routing, and blueprint issues.

    Essential Functions

    Effectively manage large amounts of sales orders including routers, purchasing, & blueprints.
    Create specific routing steps for the best internal process on the right machine to maximize equipment capabilities

    "RIGHT THINKING":

    right job, right machine, right tools, right operator, etc.
    Communicate or modify schedule to match routing steps and instructions.
    Review and purchase tooling requirements needed for specific sales orders.
    Ensures work packets sent to the job floor/programming are complete and correct.
    Listen and respond to internal plant needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
    Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives with appropriate follow up to ensure resolution.

    Work with the Inside Sales Manager & Quality Coordinator to ensure complaint or return was handled in a timely manner.

    Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
    Interpolate customer drawing and determine tolerances and requirements.

    Ability to use various CAD software and viewers to detail and dimension customer drawings to obtain information to generate a router.

    Review tooling, material, and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
    Reports all relevant information to the VP-Ops.

    Must have the ability to multitask, set and shift priorities as business dictates, while balancing the need to work quickly to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality standards.

    Attention to detail is essential.

    Confers with the VP-Ops, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate the design process.

    May assist with the development of cost projections and the establishment of departmental goals and objectives. Will perform all other job duties as assigned.

    Demands
    This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment is constant.

    This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 50 pounds, endure prolonged standing, dexterity, and stamina is necessary.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position. This position is assigned to a day shift. Additional work may be required as job duties demand.

    Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
    Technical product knowledge; industry and IFABM
    Complete knowledge of IFABM capacity and schedule "right thinking"
    Blueprint reading, interpretation of customer INTENT. Clarify with Customer.
    Attention to detail.
    Strong blueprint reading and understanding of machining
    Multitask and shift priorities, as necessary
    Adherence to quality and safety standards
    Ethical conduct
    Communication proficiency
    Clear understanding of being a productive team member
    Reliability

    Required Education and Experience
    Two-year degree in business, industrial technologies, engineering, or technical field. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Knowledge of relevant computer applications and CAD software experience is essential.
    Knowledge of Mastercam, IFABM Work Schedule System, & Work Center capabilities is essential.
    Must have the ability to work with a multitude of employees with varying abilities, skill levels and experience.
    Knowledge of welding, machining, and manufacturing symbols and processes is essential.
    Good planning, organization and follow-up skills required. Must be able to communicate internally and externally with broad and diverse groups.
    Team Player mentality across a multitude of cross-functional levels within an employee-driven work environment. Willingly assist vendors. Customers and co-workers to achieve maximum service levels, profitability, and growth.

    Preferred Education and Experience
    BS in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or Business management.
    Product knowledge in tool and die components.
