Description
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.(SEL) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Localization Specialist position located at our field office in Spokane Valley, Washington.
TheLocalization Specialist
will follow established processes to develop and launch localized SEL international content across various communication methods, including but not limited to websites, brochures, presentations, technical documents, and software.
Localization Specialist
will apply the principles of applied translation and localization management to: 1) manage resources, budgets, expectations, and workflow in order to develop, launch, and market SEL products with content that is ready for international markets; 2) coordinate all phases of translation/localization projects, including scheduling internal and external resources, managing and tracking production schedules, and ensuring completion of project on schedule, on budget, and within quality standards; 3) interface with internal clients across the globe and coordinate with designers, editors, and appropriate review resources; 4) ensure quality by formatting localized documents according to SEL design standards and processes; 5) solve problems using localization best practices; and 6) develop and maintain qualified translation vendor relationships and evaluate performance, quality, and value of active vendors.
Salary Range:
$99, $102,300.00 per year.
