Benefits of a Physical Therapist:

Pay ranges from $50 - $55.00 per hour
Health Insurance Available
Paid time off (Accrued Paid Vacation Time)
Weekly pay via direct deposit

Work on a wide range of tasks, procedures, and treatments
Compensation for mileage
Shifts in a facility or at home are available.

Responsibilities of the PT:

Work cooperatively with physicians to develop care and treatment plan that is appropriate for patient's facility environment, especially as it relates to fall risk, interventions, and safety
Assess for muscle strength, mobility, gait, range of motion and pain and select appropriate treatment and assistive devices, instructing family and caregivers on use of devices
Initiate physical therapy program and instructs other personnel, including family members and caregivers, in specific phases of physical therapy with which they may assist with the patient care

Requirements for PT:

Graduated from an American Physical Therapy Association-accredited physical therapy program.
Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
Comply with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and other legal requirements in your state.
Comply with HIPAA regulations and safeguard client confidentiality.
