    Overview:
    GovCIO is currently hiring for a multi-media/graphics designer to assist in providing Distributed Learning content training using VTC, On-Line Learning Modules, and the Virtual Community of Practice in accordance with Total Army Distributed Learning Program standards


    Responsibilities:

    Designs and develops multimedia applications, systems and products involving computer graphics and interactive computing such as computer-based systems for personal computers, CD-ROM applications, and websites.

    Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions. Incorporates software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animations, text, and sound. May plan and participate in equipment assembly, operation, and disassembly. Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs. Expected to collaborate with or supervise a team of specialists of other fields such as sound, programming, and graphics. Must be familiar with multiple design and production applications and object-oriented coding. Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and identifies areas of effective use for the client. Responsible for input on testing and approving applications prior to release.

    Provides training and instruction to support one or more SMD School training courses Develop lesson plans, training materials, and course content Conduct training secessions, demonstrations, and develop evaluation criteria Provide technical subject matter expertise and knowledge related to Army space operations Qualifications:
    Bachelor's with - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

    Clearance Required:
    TS/SCI Required Skills and Experience

    • Experience using Adobe Captivate for creating interactive courses
    • Experience creating videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Experience creating graphics using Adobe Photoshop
    • Experience manipulating and resizing JPG, PNG, MP4 files
    • Experience using Microsoft Office for eLearning application
    • Experience developing learning objectives
    • Experience with developing on SharePoint
    • Ability to discuss ADDIE process
    • Ability to discuss SCORM
    • Ability to discuss Section 508 requirements
    • Understanding of Copyright Laws
    • Experience analyzing learning needs Preferred Skills and Experience
    • Experience developing courses on Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Experience/Knowledge with SMDC curriculum (Space and Missile Defense)
