- Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
- Provide Therapy Sessions: Provide therapy sessions to clients, utilizing a variety of techniques and tools to promote effective communication.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support client success and achieve communication goals.
- Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on speech and language goals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid State Licensure or Ability to Obtain: Possess valid state licensure or have the ability to obtain licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and professionals.
- Experience in a School Setting: Experience working in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
