Description

We currently have an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a local government agency. This is a long term career openings with excellent medical benefits and a pension program.


Description:
Performs any and all maintenance work requiring the skill, training, and experience of a skilled facility associate, including but not limited to:

o Replacement of windows, window glass, screens. and locks.

o Repairs of spouting, plaster.

o Repairs plumbing issues including clogged drains, pipes, facets, toilets.

o Repairs covers for switches and outlets.

o Replaces and repairs apartment appliances, including ranges, refrigerators.

Performs tasks required to prepare a vacant unit for new occupancy, including but not limited to:

o Patching and painting walls and ceilings

o Replacement cabinets and counter tops

o Stripping and waxing floors

o Other necessary plumbing and electrical upgrades, as needed
