Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist to join a Level II Trauma Center, working with a heavy trauma population and utilizing Siemens scanners.
ResponsibilitiesWork in a Medical Imaging - CT department at a Level II Trauma Center
Serve a patient population with high trauma cases including falls, motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and stabbings
Perform scans in various settings including Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Outpatient
Department conducts approximately 60-70 ED scans per 24 hours and around 50 Outpatient scans per day
Use Siemens CT scanners exclusively with four scanners available
12-hour variable shifts, with a schedule primarily on nights and including weekend and holiday rotations
No floating required within the facility
Uses EPIC charting system (experience preferred)
Two-week orientation provided at facility and unit level
You will always have another CT Technologist on shift with you for support
No call required and overtime is optional
Black scrubs or those provided by the facility are required
Free parking is available on site
Holiday rotation is required
Time off must be discussed and approved during the interview
First-time travelers are welcome
No local travelers are permitted due to a 100-mile radius rule
Requirements
BLS and ARRT-CT certifications are required
Graduation from a Radiology Program qualifying for ARRT(R)(CT) certification with advanced certification in CT
At least 1 year of CT experience required
Team-oriented with experience in facilities of similar size and acuity
Experience with CTA preferred
No state licensure required
License required if applicable
