    Job Description: ProCare Therapy is thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a contract basis on Vashon Island, WA. This unique position offers the chance to work in a picturesque island community while making a positive impact on the lives of students. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is committed to providing high-quality speech and language services to support students' communication needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic/social skills deficits
    • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals within the school and community environments
    • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and innovative strategies to engage students and facilitate progress
    • Monitor and document student progress through ongoing assessment and data collection, and adjust intervention plans as needed
    • Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and professional development activities to support student success and enhance clinical skills

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
    • Washington state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Previous experience working with pediatric populations in a school or clinical setting preferred
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
