$70000-$80000 yearly. Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Job SummaryThe Catering Chef will be a key player in the success of high-volume, high-end catering events at a Corporate Dining account in Stamford, CT.Monday-Friday work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Successful culinary catering operation under the direction of the Executive Chef and in collaboration with the Catering ManagerResponsible for seasonal menu changes, drafting, and implementing new menusEnsure successful events and client satisfaction.

Adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient, safe, and sanitary food production, preparation, and presentationInventory, ordering/purchasing, food cost controls, training, sanitation, and personnel management; including hiring, firing, counseling, mentoring, and developingPreferred Qualifications:
A.O.S.

Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate and three to five years of culinary experience preferredPrevious experience in high-end catering events in a culinary capacityMinimum of two to five years of culinary, catering kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or trainingCatering experience is required for this roleKnowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentationBatch cooking or high-volume cooking experience is preferredExperience with food production for large, high-end catering or banquet functionsServSafe Certified Apply to CulinArt todayCulinArt is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
