    Your Opportunity

    Ascend is in search of a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. As a vital member, you will contribute to expanding our core product, engaging with customers, and spearheading the development of new features.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing cutting-edge applications utilizing Rails and Javascript
    • Collaborating with diverse teams to innovate and implement new products
    • Contributing to the enhancement of our technical infrastructure and processes

    Desired Qualifications

    • Extensive experience as a Full Stack or Backend Web Developer
    • Proficiency in relational databases
    • Demonstrated ability in building and scaling consumer-oriented products
    • Passion for acquiring new skills and solving complex business challenges

    Additional Skills

    • Interest in learning or familiarity with Ruby on Rails
    • Experience in developing external APIs and integrations
    • Background in creating payment, checkout, or insurance solutions

    Technological Environment

    • State-of-the-art Ruby on Rails API hosted on Heroku
    • Typescript deployed on Vercel for optimal performance
    • Utilization of Tailwind CSS for a consistent user interface
    • Reliable Postgres and Redis for data storage
    • Continuous integration and delivery processes
