About the Real Estate Company: Commercial Property Accountant

• CFS of New York is working with a full service rea estate investment company seeking a Commercial Property Accountant to join their team
• Our client specializes in the development of commercial buildings, mixed use, and healthcare facilities
• This role will be reporting to the Controller and will be in office daily in their Bronx, NY location

Role Responsibilities: Commercial Property Accountant

• Preparing monthly reports on the Commercial property business including all active properties that the firm works with
• Reviewing the budgets for the construction including working on conducting monthly requisitions for contractors
• Comply with the development of accounting policies and procedures
• Comply with internal controls policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications: Commercial Property Accountant

• 3-5 years experience of relevant accounting experience in Real Estate
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA is a plus
• Experience working with an ERP system such as Yardi, MRI or Deltek is a plus; strong Excel skills
