    Description

    Customer Support Specialist

    We are in search of an experienced detail-oriented customer support expert. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with ERP systems, parts, part numbers, and handling projects from simple to complex. Proficiency in Excel and managing intricate information while possessing excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is essential. The role requires demonstrating confidence, a proactive approach, and efficiency in executing all responsibilities.

    Main tasks for this role include:

    COMPONENT RELATED

    • Sourcing/ordering components as instructed by Application Engineers (AEs) or Program Managers (PM).
    • Entering component orders in the client's MRP system, IQMS.
    • Inspecting incoming component shipments.
    • Coordinating component shipments to Manufacturing Partners.
    • Recording component shipments in the Component Pack Log folder.
    • Following up with Manufacturing Partners regarding component needs and inventory status.
    • Collaborating with PM/AE on forecast buys, push-outs, pull-ins, etc.

    CIRCUIT RELATED

    • Preparing quotes on orders for review by AE or PM.
    • Confirming orders back to customers and providing regular status updates.
    • Communicating/Expediting with Manufacturing Partners on orders in progress.
    • Supplying Manufacturing Partners with necessary paperwork for direct shipping if required.
    • Recording Purchase Orders both in the client's MRP system, IQMS, and on the network drive.
    • Monitoring incoming shipments from Manufacturing Partners.
    • Warehousing inventory when immediate shipment is unnecessary.
    • Facilitating the shipment of goods to customers in line with PO's.
    • Reporting issues to the Quality Manager and Application Engineers promptly.
    • Creating Bill of Materials as directed by Application Engineers.

    SALES RELATED

    • Reviewing with AE or PM their pipeline of opportunities.
    • Developing follow-up activities and assisting in execution.
    • Following up on quotes and opportunities, collecting customer feedback and supporting AE/PM to ensure the client's competitive positioning.
    • Tracking – Won – Loss and documenting reasons in the Pipeline system.

    OTHER

    • Saving E-mails in Customer files related to ongoing projects.
    • Sending brochures, samples, and word processing materials as required by Application Engineers.
    • Supporting Application Engineers in additional projects whenever feasible and as needed.
    • Undertaking other assignments as delegated by Leadership or the Applications Engineers.
