Business Process ConsultantFort Belvoir (Hybrid) (Candidates must be local to the DC Metro Area)@Orchard LLC has been retained by a growing Federal contractor with a great culture to identify a Business Process Consultant.
As the Business Process Consultant you will;The Business Process Consultant will be responsible for Researching and analyzing core business processes to identify gaps and recommend improvement areas for the organization's performance and efficiency.
Oversee change management and collection of requirements for project initiatives, utilizing a knowledge and understanding of process mapping, data collection, data analysis, procedure writing, and documentation.
Develop and manage detailed project plans and revises the plans to meet changing needs and requirements.Your background will likely include the following;U.S.

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related experience in lieu of degree3+ years experience analyzing business and technical processesStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsAbility to demonstrate active listening skills to gain understanding of key customer issuesPossesses strong verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills)
Heightened attention to detail, with the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentationsProvides process engineering technical support expertise to activities and projects in order to improve operations within the organizationAnalyzes processes and reengineering alternatives, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environmentCreates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted stakeholders, users, and process ownersPerforms analyses and develops related recommendations; Uses analyses to develop recommended business and operational improvements, increasing effectiveness and gaining efficiencyRecommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts, to include incorporating Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, and/or Quality Management and other continuous process improvement methodologies and techniques/toolsDevelops and facilitates implementation of solutions to complex problemsExperience with business workflow processes, procedure documentation, testing plans and supportAbility to quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written documents or presentationsExperience and comfort with cloud-based and desktop MS Office products, including MS Project and MS VisioDesired:
Creative problem-solving abilityExperience solving business and technical problems independently, creating innovative solutionsClearly articulating Chirality's value-propositions and preparing final drafts of major deliverables assuring quality controlDesired:2 years of experience in the Management Consulting fieldCertification(s): CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltKnowledge and understanding of project management principles and the phases of project management (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure)Experience planning and executing projects of varying degrees of complexity, preferably projects that involve serving a client and engaging directly with the client throughout project performanceExperience supporting Federal Government clientsIf you feel you are qualified for this opportunity and would like to learn more, please apply.
