    Job Posting Summary:
    Seeking a seasoned CAE Analyst to perform crash safety-related impact simulations, analyze results, and develop solutions to meet advanced automobile safety standards.

    Job Requirements:

    • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME).
    • Minimum of 6 years of industry experience as a CAE analyst, including specific solver software usage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with LS-DYNA using pre-processor/post-processor tools such as ANSA and Meta-Post for complex vehicle system-level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis.
    • A related advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and perform crash safety-related impact simulations using LS-DYNA.
    • Evaluate the results of simulations through careful analysis.
    • Measure simulations against target automobile performance criteria based on standards such as the New Car Assessment Program and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, as well as internal safety standards.
    • Determine appropriate countermeasures to meet criteria if simulation outcomes are below target performance.
    • Create detailed engineering documentation of simulation analysis by generating written reports.
    • Collaborate with design and test engineers to integrate simulation findings into product enhancements.
    Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
