- Provide balanced yoga practice at all levels and abilities.
- Provide patrons with progressions and regressions when necessary and educate patrons on appropriate breathing principles and safe transition techniques.
- Adhere to class format for the style of class scheduled.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays (Saturday Mornings)
- Present fitness and wellness-related workshops.
- Provide customer service by assisting members with answers to programming questions, proper equipment usage, exercise demonstrations, and safe exercise techniques.
- Notify Management if equipment needs to be repaired and/or replaced.
- Market and promote AquaVie facilities and programs.
- Includes other duties as assigned by the Sun Valley Spa Director
- Current group exercise certification Or a Yoga specific 200 hr training
- Current CPR and AED certification
- 2+ years' experience in group fitness instruction or personal training
- Ability to perform exercises and movements as demonstrations for clients

- Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)

As a Sun Valley Spa Yoga Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for providing various yoga and mindful meditation techniques in an entertaining, educational, and fun atmosphere while promoting fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment. You must be able to instruct members and coach them to perform yoga techniques safely. Can develop, document and implement group workout programs that match the needs and goals of clients. Know all fitness floor policies and be able to communicate with a diverse group of patrons.
