    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our community-based Oncology Clinic.

    As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals facing cancer diagnoses.


    Job Summary:

    The Local Float Registered Nurse (RN) works across our Community-Based Oncology Clinics providing coverage while offering the RN the opportunity to gain diverse experience and exposure to different patient populations and treatments.

    To ensure clarity of scheduling, the Float Registered Nurse is primarily aligned to our clinics within Orange County but will also cover additional clinics in the surrounding area.

    Our Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.

    You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support, education, and compassionate care to patients and their families.


    Patient Assessment and Care:
    Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and psychological aspects, to develop individualized care plans.
    Educate patients and families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and self-care, offering emotional support throughout the process.
    Assist with procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.

    Collaboration:
    Collaborate with oncologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

    Safety:
    Follow established infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

    Quality Improvement:
    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to enhance patient outcomes and clinic practices.
    Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on oncology care preferred.
    Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
