RMC is hiring a Tier 3 Analyst-Red Team member to support our customer in Quantico, VA
The Tier 3 Analyst will execute a defensive cyber counter-infiltration operation against Advanced Persistent Threats within the network
The Tier 3 Analyst assesses servers, hosts, and network devices for adversary presence and clears those hosts of that presence when necessary
The selected applicant will perform a variety of activities including but not limited to:

• Researching, identifying, and verifying new Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures to improve team effectiveness.
• Assessing and identifying APT activities within the server, client host, or network devices connected to the network.
• Creating new detection use cases based on tactics employed and lessons learned from each case.
• Identifying gaps in detection capability and reporting trouble tickets to the appropriate entity responsible for mitigating those gaps.
• Demonstrating effectiveness by successfully detecting Red Team activity.
• Updating tactics, techniques, procedures, training, and education documentation.
• Preparing and presenting a course that covers tactics, techniques, processes, and procedures.
• Providing support required to maintain the customer's CSSP accreditation per the standards, including documentation and technical writing support as needed.

Requires a college degree in a technical or managerial-related discipline
Five years of practical experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E, or A&A-related field
A high school diploma or HS equivalency certificate is acceptable with more than 7 years of in Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E, or A&A experience
Experience should also have included working with Information Assurance tools such as DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution and may be required to hold a Full Security Control Assessor qualification
This position is considered essential and will be required to report during hazardous weather, power outages, fuel shortages, pandemics, and other emergencies
Applicant selected must hold a current valid IAT Level II certification
Candidate selected must maintain the required IAT Level II compliant certification

Certification Requirements:
This position will require DoD IAT Level II compliance
An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to start
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
RMC employees may be subject to COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements in order to access government facilities.
