    We are currently seeking a Business Analyst.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Serve as the subject matter expert on the various business areas/programs of the institute.

    Develop as-is business process models for information systems.

    Develop business cases and Alternatives Analysis documents.

    Verify that lines of reporting and responsibility provide adequate technical and managerial analysis of the project.

    Prepare management reports of key project performance indicators.


    Identify risks associated with the development of new software efforts, including application enhancements, extension systems, the analysis and classification of those risks as to severity and likelihood, and the identification of techniques to mitigate the risks.


    Collaborate with Designers, Developers, QA Testers, and stakeholders in an Agile Environment and ensure iterative delivery of functionality in enterprise applications through agile processes.

    Maintain project documentation in Microsoft DevOps Server as user stories for assigned products and services


    Collaborate and act as a liaison between application development, business stakeholders, and IT leadership to develop and/or recommend improvements to internal procedures and processes that could improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of business applications.

    Serve as key member of multiple research and training working groups providing business practice and continuity expertise.

    Collaborate with the Program Manager on tracking performance metrics, and maintaining outreach and communication mechanisms for Key Stakeholders

    Consult on governance, capacity building, scientific support, and research advancement to organizational leadership.


    Bridge communication with business owners, vendors, and technical teams internally and externally, throughout SDLC, ultimately enhancing delivery timelines, and business satisfaction.

    Complex analysis and reporting, utilizing data within and external to the systems/applications to support planning activities.

    Assist with the development of business case documents by providing feasibility and high- level business requirements analyses for existing systems or new requests.

    Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
    Prepare corporate technical communication materials, presentations, and executive briefings
    Facilitate meetings and workshops
    Demonstrate a willingness to develop expertise in practices and processes

    Great communicator for stakeholders and staff. Need to speak both technical and business.


    Qualifications:
    5+ years of proficient level of experience as an application business analyst

    Familiarity with Collaborative Solutions/M365 Products( MS Teams, SharePoint Online).

    Experience with Power Platform is desired

    Experience with Onboarding COTS products is desired

    Experience with Requirement and Testing Tools

    Four plus years of experience and practice skills with 508 desired

    Compliance/Accessibility testing

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to communicate with both technical and business users.

    Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance a must
