    Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Material Handler- 1st Shift.


    Shift Hours:
    6am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday. This role is eligible for overtime compensation, which can be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

    What you'll do:


    This position assists in distributing out our materials for our electrical metering, relaying and transformer components into medium voltage (5-38kv) switchgear assemblies as well as device wiring.


    In this function you will:

    • Operate a forklift to move raw materials and WIP on pallets from one location to another.
    • Organize queue areas for WIP.
    • Proactively stage material in production areas to minimize operator time wasted when searching for parts.
    • Assist with checking in and loading job carts and processing surplus material returns.
    • Build crates for miscellaneous orders as needed.
    • Perform driving duties as necessary to pick up supplies for the shop or parts for outsourcing.
    • Focus on continuous improvement and accomplishing team/plant goals; participate in Kaizen events.
