    Overview
    St.

    Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital offers leading-edge treatments and services to our North Houston, TX community including North Harris and Montgomery counties.

    The Woodlands Hospital provides expertise in a broad range of services, including heart care, neurology, sports medicine, diagnostic imaging, women's services, neurosciences, pediatric care (NICU Level III) surgery, pathology, pulmonary care and sleep disorders.

    Our clinical affiliations include Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Heart Institute, The Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Texas Children's Hospital.

    St. Luke's Health - Lakeside Hospital is a joint hospital dedicated to serving The Woodlands community.

    Responsibilities

    With our combined resources, we are committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen, both inside our hospitals and out in the community.

    In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.


    Emergency Room Nurse Role:

    • Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity setting
    • Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations
    • Proficiency with telemetry / cardiac Monitoring
    • Passion for excellence in delivering quality care

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:
    One year experience as an RN

    Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma

    Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

    BLS with skills demonstration

    ACLS & PALS (within 90 days)


    Preferred Qualifications:
    One (1) year of RN experience on a MedSurg unit

    Bachelors in Nursing Preferred


    Pay Range
    $ $50.75 /hour
