    Description
    JOB SUMMARY This role involves daily checks on oil, fluids, tire pressure, and fuel levels of equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Ensure all delivery equipment is fueled daily.
    • Check fluid levels of power equipment daily.
    • Provide assistance to the fleet shop when necessary.
    • Collaborate with the fleet shop and night warehouse management to prepare equipment for operation.
    • Support the Wash Bay Associate as required.
    • Maintain cleanliness and debris-free parking lot.
    • Assist night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard.
    QUALIFICATIONS Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
    Experience
    • 1-3 months of relevant experience and/or training.
    Professional Skills
    • Ability to understand and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
    • Capable of writing simple correspondence.
    • Effectively communicate information in one-on-one and group settings to customers, clients, and colleagues.
    • Perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
    • Apply common sense to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
    • Handle problems involving multiple variables in standard situations.
    • Willingness to learn to operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
    Physical Demands The physical requirements for this position include:
    • Standing, walking, using hands, reaching, and speaking or hearing on a regular basis.
    • Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
    • Occasional sitting.
    • Frequent lifting and/or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
