Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with their bathing toileting oral hygiene skin care grooming nail care dressing needs feeding residents providing bedside water providing snacks transferring residents to and from dining areas as needed in compliance with nutritional plan of care answering resident call lights responding to resident s request for assistance in a timely manner in accordance to facility policy maintaining resident rooms making bed or changing bed linens cleaning beside table organizing personal belongings as needed observing reporting any signs of change in the resident s appetite skin condition behaviors that are out of the ordinary and according to facility policy offering emotional support actively listening to residents which will help them develop trust achieve independence daily living maintaining confidentiality all residents their care ensure resident rights privacy protected times complying safety requirements infection control measures maintaining clean work environment.
