Requirements / Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED equivalency. Ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing, and mathematics. Behavior Technician Certification by completing 40 hours of class work in applied behavior analysis. Previous experience working with children in a school setting. Ability to possess a valid California driver's license (as appropriate to the assignment) and ability to be insurable.

Bay View Academy seeks a Behavior Aide who supports students of BVA by providing behavior support and modeling using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis while working with general and special education students and staff in the classroom, in groups, and in 1:1 settings.
