    NOTE:
    Applicants must
    Lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization; making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks; and ensuring that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product
    Serves as a team leader and formulates work schedules. Ensures patient education occurs during the shift. Reviews and revises nursing care plans. Work in coordination with other lead nurses from other units. Serves as a resource person, provides guidance and leadership to staff.
    Monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the Supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met
    Provides nursing care within Walk In Primary Care Clinic scope of Practice.

    Applies the nursing process to patients of all ages requiring stabilization and/or resuscitation for a variety of illnesses and injuries.

    Consults with attending physicians and other staff members to determine and evaluate the kind of health and physical care needed.

    Reviews patient's chart and ensures the staff makes legible, accurate and complete nursing entries in the patient chart for all nursing care given by utilizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

    Provide assistance in facility emergent situation, delegating ICU staff to help as needed.

    Maintains professional knowledge and proficiency in Unit specific nursing knowledge and practice through continuing education to include: Unit specific certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NERP; staff meeting attendance, attendance of outside and in-house workshops, especially mandatory training events.

    Participates in the preceptorship program as assigned.
