Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring 3+ years of ED experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

Works in a hospital Emergency Department
Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
13-week contract
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Epic EMR used
May be required to float within skill set to on-site units or to facilities within 40 miles
MOAB or CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (8-hour course, renewed every 2 years) required
Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible only for a reduced local rate
Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
Skills checklist required for consideration

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license required
Current AHA-issued certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
TNCC certification required (renewed every 4 years)
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 3 years of ED experience required; candidates without travel experience must have 5+ years in a large ED
Prior travel nursing experience preferred for candidates with less than 5 years of ED experience
Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references required for consideration
