    YOUR ROLE

    As Genworth continues to evaluate the performance of existing blocks of Long Term Care insurance, it is important that we accurately implement rate increases. Genworths US Life Insurance division is looking for a Product Owner to develop new capabilities for successful implementations of rate increases and associated innovative offerings. You will operate within an Agile environment side-by-side with key business stakeholders, developers, analysts, architects and testing resources to define high level business intent and features, drive solution decisions and ensure finished products meet the needs of all stakeholders. You will provide strategic direction for a team through Product experience and business intelligence. You will shape the strategy and content of IT delivery in an Agile environment.

    What you will be doing

    • Partner with Rate Action Implementation and Rate Action Capabilities agile teams to assist with testing output reviews & provide production checkout support following each LTC Admin Release
    • Partner with Product Owners to ensure that policyholder letter changes for rate action implementations are tracked and implemented correctly into production; assist with post-production letter review
    • Research any escalations or post-rate action implementation related issues
    • Monitor and investigate policies on missing rate action & no quote letter reports; work with IT to take appropriate action
    • Assist with creating checklists & data files for rate action implementations for each rate action approval
    • Ownership of Future Rate Increase Plan tracking & updates for Consumer Web, IFA Letters, and Settlement Letters
    • Assist with any adhoc mailing requests (example: filing notification letters, noncancellable notifications)
    • Assist with tracking of Rate Action approvals through implementation
    • Ownership of Brighthouse day to day activities including bi-weekly calls, reviewing of filings/objections, preparing UFLIC invoice, & coordination between Milliman, UFLIC and Brighthouse

    What you bring

    Required

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Collaborative team player who is consistently executes deliverables in a timely manner
    • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    Preferred

    • 3+ years experience in project management or related field
    • Previous Business Analyst experience a plus
    • Previous experience with Long Term Care Insurance and/or associated rate increases
    • CLOAS experience
