    Position Summary:

    The Sr. Manager Business Development is an individual contributor role responsible for developing and growing strategic accounts for Cinterra's Renewable Construction Solutions including cross selling opportunities into Utilities, Directional Drilling, Gas and Fencing operations. Additionally, the Sr. Manager Business Development will require heavy interaction and collaboration with the Center of Excellence, Finance and Construction. This position offers a competitive salary paid weekly plus commissions that are paid out on a quarterly basis based on your SIP (Sales Incentive Plan). The position can be remote based with travel to Cinterra's offices and client offices.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Engage new and existing customers through traditional and progressive methods of marketing. Including the use of outbound calling, print, electronic or digital media and AI.
    • Develop meaningful partnerships and relationships with department & business line leaders.
    • Develop an overarching strategic plan with a focus on securing new business and growing existing relationships with key clients and markets.
    • Build a strategic pipeline management system leveraging the company's CRM (SalesForce).
    • Partner with Pre-Construction, Center of Excellence and Construction on the proposal and bid process.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize high-priority and meaningful KPIs for your own pipeline.
    • Develop a Key Account Management strategy for your current and target accounts.
    • Lead the development, negotiation and implementation of MSAs and PPAs.
    • Mentor and train less experienced BD representatives.
    • Perform at levels that meet or exceed your SIP.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • At least 10 years of combined experience selling Heavy Industrial Construction sales solutions.
    • Must have prior proven business development experience in the utility-scale solar industry.
    • 3 years of business development experience in a Utility Scale Solar Business Development Role.
    • 3 years of experience as a key account manager or business development representative.
    • 3 years of experience managing national key accounts.

    Preferred Candidates will also have the following experience:

    • Experience selling to EPCs.
    • Detailed oriented.
    • Efficient in excel, word, PowerPoint.
    • Efficient in a CRM (preferably SalesForce)
    • Ability to work in a matrix organization and support multiple leaders and teammates.
    • Strong communication skills verbally and written.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Travel up to 25% of the time.

    *Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance or Construction related degrees.*

    Physical Requirements:

    • May be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and telephone, along with other general office equipment.
    • Close vision abilities required due to computer work.
    • Light to moderate lifting/carrying of 25 lbs may be required.
    • Reaching overhead or below.
    • Work environment may include being able to tolerate moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, light traffic)
    • Ability to work in a confined area.
    • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
