    Responsibilities:

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • This role leads multiple project teams in finding backlog and scoping active projects for team member completion of deliverables.
    • Owns client relationships for the organization by regularly interacting with multiple clients reviewing the organizations entire offer structure
    • Industry recognized expertise by peers, associations, governing bodies or other groups of design influencers
    • Contributes to strategic planning by communicating client and market observations
    • Leads the implementation and accountability of standards throughout their teams
    • Develops client account plans with BD, marketing, and other leaders across the organization
    • Regularly develops others through project work, training, and mentorship
    • Leads the entire design team and each sub-discipline by acting as the design manager
    • The Senior Project Engineer is typically eligible to become a licensed Professional Engineer or is registered in at least one governing authority
    • Other duties as assigned

    Secondary Responsibilities

    • Leads organizational training on topics and issues
    • Updates Interstates standards with code changes
    • Trains field leaders on design implementation

    Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $103,200 - $141,900+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     Education and/or Experience: B.S. degree from a 4 year ABET Accredited Engineering program. Additionally, should have 10-20 years of experience; or a combination of education and experience. PE License preferred but required.

    Travel Requirements: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Generally, travel should not exceed 35% of your time.
