    Summary

    This position is in the Facilities and Property Branch, Division of Administration.

    The Support Services Supervisor (Deputy Director) has responsibility identifying the immediate and long-range needs for the Agency and for determining and instituting action to meet such needs.

    As a SUPPORT SERVICES SUPERVISOR, GS -0342-15, your typical work assignments may include:
    • Managing and providing support services for conferences, training, and hearing facilities.
    • Providing transportation services for headquarters employees and officials.
    • Drafting and submitting the Agency's sustainability and Greenhouse Inventory report to the appropriate managing Federal Agency.
    • Providing leadership and direction to assigned staff.

    The ideal candidate for the Support Services Supervisor (Deputy Director) position should have clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing, the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently, and the ability to think outside the box.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Specialized Experience


    To qualify for this position, applicants must have one-year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the GS-15, Support Services Supervisor (Deputy Director), and that is typically related to the work of the position to be filled.

    Specialized experience includes:
    • Experience managing budget formulation (from beginning to end) to ensure accurate documentation and resources availability;
    • Providing advice, counsel, or instruction on administrative and technical work issues to support an office; and
    • Independently planning, designing, and implementing programs, projects, studies, or work to ensure its viability and success.

    TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS

    All current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year of experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent grade level of the federal service is required to qualify for the GS-15 grade level.

    NOTE: All Agency employees must provide a copy of their SF-50 "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive). As a current NLRB career or career conditional employee in the Competitive Service, you may determine your current status by checking block 24 on your SF-50. Block 24 must reflect "1" or "2". Also, block 34 must reflect "1". A copy of your SF-50 must be provided for verification.
