    Procurement Analyst Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to support our Accounting operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support various procurement processes, including purchasing, receiving, negotiations, testing, and help desk ticket management.
    • Conduct tests in Oracle Procurement modules or on new interfaces as necessary.
    • Monitor and review Purchase Requisition issues via help desk tickets.
    • Define functional training requirements and develop training materials.
    • Run reporting to validate daily transaction activity feeds into Oracle.
    • Develop innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore logistics solutions for customers and suppliers.
    • Perform monthly identification and reconciliation of outstanding orders and non-receipts with the accounting department.
    • Provide recommendations on procurement-related issues, plans, reports, trainings, and metrics.
    • Provide education and training to internal team members on procurement policies and best practices.
    • Prepare monthly reports on Purchasing metrics and ad-hoc reporting as required.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (in lieu of degree) or 3+ years of experience in a related field.
    • Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Pivot Tables.
    • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
    • Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of work.
    • Commitment to achieving predetermined goals and deadlines while working within the policies of the Accounting Dept.
    • Ability to draw conclusions and make independent decisions with limited information.
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community.
    • Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
