Job Description
***Only qualified Manufacturing Systems Engineer candidates located in the Seneca, SC area will be considered due to the position requiring a 100% onsite presence***
Client has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to assume the role of Manufacturing Systems Engineer at our Seneca, SC plant.
The applicant will have the ability to use problem solving skills to find root cause solutions for process and product issues. A team-building assertive person with the desire to take projects to completion while developing associates within his or her team will fit best in this role.
Qualifications:
• 4 yr. Degree
• Willing to work on-site
• 3+ years of production planning experience
• "Act like Owner" mentality
Manufacturing Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
• Create production schedules based on these key inputs:
• Workcenter capacities
• Material availability
• Manpower
• Organize cross-functional team to align to the schedule
• Analyze and forecast critical material availability based on production plan
• Improve material flows internally to increase efficiency
• Communicate to upper management anticipated output on weekly basis
• Escalate production barriers to responsible support function to meet production plan
