    Description

    Overview:
    Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services | Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions | Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids


    Major Position Responsibilities:
    Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.
    Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
    Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.
    Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
    Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.
    Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.


    Basic Qualifications:

    To be successful in this role you must:
    Have an Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related degree

    Preferred Bachelor's degree

    2-4 years of experience
    Or equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience
