    Chief Human Resources Officer

    Up to $150,000

    Full Time, Mercer County NJ


    Who We Need:

    The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources policies, programs, and practices. As a strategic business partner, the CHRO oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle and guides major workforce decisions and planning. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and strategic HR expert with strong business and financial acumen along with excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to influence corporate strategy and operations.


    What We Need:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute a human resource strategy that supports the organization's mission and the diverse needs of emerging businesses. Lead initiatives for organizational development and culture-building.

  • Diverse Workforce Development and Management: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, creating a workplace culture that values and promotes diversity at all levels. Provide expertise in the management of a diverse workforce, including full-time employees, part-time staff, and volunteers with a mix of cultural backgrounds, abilities, and communication styles.

  • Employee Compensation and Benefits Management: Ensure pay rates are competitive and comply with state laws and federal regulations. Oversee the administration of benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and in compliance with legal standards.

  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Lead the talent acquisition process, attracting and retaining top talent essential for the growth of the organization and the people we support. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management processes. Work with managers to develop employee promotion and retention strategies.

  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive work environment through proactive employee relations, engagement strategies, and effective communication channels. Manage the organizations' recognition programs.

  • Legal Compliance and HR Policies: Ensure all HR practices follow legal requirements taking into account the unique requirements of core and emerging businesses. Establish HR policies that support the organization's objectives and ethical standards.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead the Human Resources team including HR Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, and DEI Lead. HR Operations includes HR business partner support and Benefits Administration.

  • What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Expert knowledge of HR disciplines including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation, legal compliance, training, leadership development, etc.
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills to interpret HR data and metrics.
