    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    RN - CVICU

    Job Details:


    • Work 12.5-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

    • Rotating weekend schedule

    • 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • 13 or 26-week assignment length

    • No call requirements

    • Must have 2+ years ICU experience

    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH

    • Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)

    • Must be proficient in hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines

    • Ventilator management experience required

    • Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills

    • Preferred experience with IABP and CRRT

    • Experience with Meditech charting/order entry preferred

    • Handle post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-catheterization patients with cardiac support devices

    • Work with various cardiac devices including IABP, Impella, and ECMO

    • Device training provided by hospital

    • Must be willing to float to other units as needed

    • Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket

    • Badge in/out required with full 30-minute lunch break

    • Must clock in by 6:45 AM/PM (after 6:45 considered tardy)

    Adex Job ID # Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
